Award winning Australian vocalist and composer, Alyson Murray, is known for juxtaposing elements of soul, RnB and jazz into energetic and captivating music. Alyson completed her Bachelor of Fine Art Contemporary Music in 2015 at the Victorian College of the Arts, where she was awarded the Agnes Robertson Contemporary Music Scholarship in her first year.

Alyson featured on various Australian records including 'The Flipside' by Melbourne hip-hop artist, Maundz, and ‘Anotha Dollar Anotha Day’ by Sydney rapper, Rates. Notably, Alyson released her first solo EP entitled ‘Integrity’ in 2013, and singles ‘On My Way’ 2014, ‘Its Taken A While’ and 2018 has seen the release of Alyson's debut album 'Breathe'. Single release from the album 'You Rock My World' an exciting arrangement of Michael Jackson’s hit, received raving reviews internationally on JazzFM UK and NYC and was in the top 10 on Delight FM peoples choice for several weeks, Alyson was interviewed in London on Delight FM by Chris Forbes. ‘You Rock My World’ was also number one on the Roots Record Chats 2018.

''Sassy' a Tribute to Sarah Vaughan' was curated by Alyson in 2018 and was a sell out! Performed at the famous Melbourne venue, Paris Cat jazz Club and during the Melbourne Jazz Festival ‘Sassy’ featured New York saxophonist Marcus Strickland. It has been toured internationally at Minton’s Playhouse Harlem, New York and also in Montreal, Canada at Diese Onze.

In 2019 Alyson Murray has been booked to perform at the Melbourne Recital Centre on International Woman’s Day to celebrate her new album.
